EU Delists Individual from Libya Sanctions List

The Council of the European Union adopted Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1583 which amends the sanctions list with respect to Libya.

The EU’s review of the sanctions list led to the determination to remove one individual from Annex III of the regulation. In particular, the EU delisted Mohamad Ali Houe, and he is no longer subject to asset freeze measures.

The final regulation maintains sanctions and asset freeze measures on all other designees listed under Annex III.
