EU Establishes Sanctions Framework Targeting Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad

The Council of the EU adopted Council Decision (CFSP) 2024/385, which establishes a dedicated sanctions framework to target individuals or entities that support, facilitate, or enable violent actions by Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ).

The Decision also lists six individuals under the newly establish sanctions regime for providing financial support to Hamas.
