The Council of the European Union adopted restrictive measures against nine individuals and six entities responsible for destabilising actions targeting the EU and Ukraine.
The measures respond to hybrid threats such as disinformation campaigns, cyberattacks, and support for illegitimate authorities in Russian-occupied territories.
Sanctions include asset freezes and travel bans, under the EU’s sanctions framework addressing threats to the sovereignty and security of third countries and the Union.
