What is Gamban?
Gamban is a digital tool that can enable anyone who wants to reduce or terminate their access to online gambling.
Once installed on a mobile phone, tablet or PC, it blocks access to applications or websites related to online gambling, thus reducing exposure to triggers relating to online gambling.
It is not a therapeutic process for problem gambling, and it does not replace professional counselling. However, it can supplement as an additional measure of self-protection to other tools, like self-exclusion and setting limits

Gamban is designed to be lightweight and usually runs in the background with minimal impact on device performance.
The software is designed to be difficult to uninstall. This design is intentionally: the aim is to create a substantial barrier in times of great urge for gambling activity.
The license provides a total of 5-year protection period. The user can choose a blocking period ranging from six months to 5 years and, if a shorter period is chosen initially, it can can be extended to up to the completion of 5 years.
