The European Commission adopted Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/830 to amend Annex I of Council Regulation 881/2002 in line with a March 30, 2026 U.N. Security Council Sanctions Committee action to add one entry.

Specifically, the entry for Hamidah Nabagala was added, and the Ugandan national is now subject to sanctions.

The final regulation requires EU‑regulated firms to refresh sanctions screening to capture the revised identifiers, continue freezing any funds and economic resources owned or controlled by the listed person, and prevent assets from being made available, directly or indirectly, in accordance with EU restrictive measures.
