EU Adds Three to DRC Sanctions List

The Council of the European Union adopted Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/1880 concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The regulation adds Sebastien Uwimbabazi, Muhammed Lumisa, and the armed group Twirwaneho to the European Union sanctions list following their July 14, 2026, designations by the United Nations Security Council committee.
