EU Extends Lebanon Sanctions Through July 2027

The Council of the European Union adopted Council Decision (CFSP) 2026/1767 to extend restrictive measures imposed in response to the situation in Lebanon for another year.

The decision amends Council Decision (CFSP) 2021/1277 by replacing its July 31, 2026, expiration date with July 31, 2027. The EU renewed the sanctions framework following a review of the existing measures.
